WHAT MY CLIENTS SAY

KR, aged 14
"It helped to provide strategies to reduce anxiety and raise self-esteem."
TH, parent of a young person who attended PROJECT:ME
"Really enjoyed it and found it useful. He said he felt more confident talking out loud."
SW, age 13, from Great Baddow High School, who attended PROJECT:ME
"I know what I want to do now. I want to live my life and just be the best I can be."
Nikki, Parent
"My daughter took part in a group at school aged 14. Kate really helped with her confidence and she enjoyed her sessions, she looked forward to them every week. This has given her the confidence to decide a club she attended is no longer right for her and has started a netball club which she is really enjoying despite it pushing her out of her comfort zone. She would not have done something like this before. Cannot recommend Kate enough. A huge thank you."
LR, age 12
"Now I realise that you should be more comfortable with who you are and it doesn't matter what other people think."

Wayne Dyer once said ‘if you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change’ 🙌
Why the sharing of of an old quote? Well as many of you know I’m training to run the TCS London Marathon this October. Tonight I have run the longest distance I’ve ever done in my whole life, it’s Saturday night, it’s now just after 10pm and I’ve just run 15 miles. I’m beyond proud (and exhausted 😴!)

But, the reason I mention this quote is that today after some 20 weeks of training things just seem so different.

I normally I do my long runs on Sunday early in the morning, but today I just thought, no I’m not going set my alarm tomorrow morning to get up at 6 o’clock and then be broken for the rest of the day, which has been my life lately.
Sometimes it’s good to chuck out the plan & switch things up. Instead of seeing the sun ☀️ rise I saw it set & also had Matt come to join me for the last 6 miles. I just really loved the different time of day. It might not seem a big deal to some, but having run 34 miles in the last 7 days, having a whole new perspective was very much welcome 🤗
Plus, I now have my Sunday free (no 6am alarm 🙌)

Every step takes me closer to race day & thoughts turn to those behind the charity Macmillan Cancer Support who I am raising funds for. When I’m running I sometimes spend a whole mile thinking of loved ones who have left us, it’s one if the biggest things that keeps me going.

Time for a good sleep 💤

Feeling 😴 and 🤪 and 💪🏽
