Loved listening in to my 8 year old daughter's zoom lesson today. They were discussing emotions using The Zones of Regulation. A great tool to help children express themselves. Their teacher did it so well, allowing them all to share in a supportive, kind way.

Like others I've seen post today, I have been thinking how I would like 2021 to be a healthy, positive year for us all. I wish this for every one of you π
π« A year with purpose & positivity is my personal aim π«
I plan to limit the news, filter my social media feeds & intentionally pour in positivity by way of books, people & experiences π₯°
This book is a good place to start. Even better on Audible, i'd highly recommend it....Jay Shetty has a lovely rhythmic sound to his voice that is so soothing. He talks in such a powerful, empowering way. If you are keen to overcome negative thoughts & habits & find a way to be calm, then add this to your to read list.
For me its reaffirming a lot of how I live & that in a world where there is so much I cannot control, I am at my happiest when I am centred, calm & congruent. All things I CAN control with good habits & by living my values.
